Vintage Ladder and Lanterns

I have a really easy DIY for you today. Total construction time is probably 5-10 minutes. I’m even including a couple extra minutes in my estimate to find a hammer.
Before I get started I wanted to reveal a little something about my blog. For those of you who have subscribed to my blog, I love you, I appreciate you, I love your comments, but lately, for some reason my emails are not being sent. It used to be wordpress just blocked about a third of my subscribers but now they are blocking everyone…by everyone, I mean even me.
You would think that having a blog for four years I would know what’s going on, that I must be really computer savvy…well you’d be wrong. Overall I’m pretty darn clueless.
So over the next week I think I’m going to switch email carriers, so for my current subscribers, if you get a subscription confirmation email I hope you accept and more importantly, I hope this works and if this doesn’t work, you can always find me on Facebook.
Now for my super easy DIY, a vintage ladder and lantern wall hanging. Other than the more obvious ladder and lanterns, you’ll also need a few cup hooks and a couple D Ring Picture Hangers for hanging.
The lanterns are $3.99 tealight holders from IKEA.
Between each of the rungs of the ladder, find the center point and screw in a cup hook.
On both ends of the ladder attach a D ring for hanging.
This is my basement guest bedroom. You may remember the twin beds, they were formerly This End Up bunk beds. Well now I’m working on that big blank wall just above the bed.
Hang the lanterns on the cup hooks, nail a couple nails and your project is complete.
Until next time, stay inspired.
