Pallet Wood and Skulls for Halloween

This is the week of easy pallet wood Halloween projects. I thought the pumpkin holder from earlier in the week was a good project for the beginner palleter (made up word) but this one, I assure you, is even easier.
I picked up this skull poster from my visit to Chartreuse and Co. a couple weeks ago but not to leave you hanging, I found the same picture for you here.
I’m not really sure it was meant for Halloween because while it may be a skull, it’s actually showing all the bony parts and they were also selling a poster of the parts of the human body. Having said that, a skull is perfect for Halloween.
Gather your pallet wood long enough and wide enough to give yourself a nice sized border.
Pull out any leftover nails, sand any splinters and cut to size.
From the back, attach your pallet wood with nails or screws with a couple cross braces. You could probably get away with just two braces, I had to use a middle brace to get rid of a little warp in the wood.
Use Mod Podge to attach the skull poster to the pallet wood. Cover the entire back with Mod Podge and smooth out any air bubbles.
Let dry and you’re ready for hanging.
You could use the same technique for any poster though I like the pallet wood for those pictures with a vintage style.
Look for the tripod floor lamp here.
Stay inspired and make sure you check back next week to see what else I’ve been working on. I think I’m finished with Halloween projects (at least for now).

That looks so cool! I even have a pallet laying next to my shed that would be perfect for this. Thanks.
I would definitely hang this skull picture in my house all year round but, it is definitely spot on for Halloween! Love it. Pinned :)a
I absolutely love this idea. Thanks!
