An easy project for Halloween and for my husband who always gets the shivers every time we mention spiders.
You will need the following…
- grapevine wreath
- white spray paint
- ugly spider
- fake spiderweb
- sticks
- hot glue gun
Gather up your sticks and grape vine wreath and give them a quick spray of white spray paint. The main reason I paint the wreath white, is so that it will stand out against my red front door and highlight my black spider. Brown sticks against a red door doesn’t have a lot of contrast.
Hot glue your sticks to the wreath being a little haphazard. It’s ok to go outside the lines
Stretch the spider web overtop of your wreath. It gets caught in all the sticks and vines, that’s what holds it in place.
Add your ugly spider gluing his legs in place stretched across your wreath. This cute guy was from Target for $5.
All finished. Wasn’t that the quickest wreath you’ve ever made?
